Dove Cottage

For this project, our client wanted something really special, the brief was for us to curate a space that the whole family could enjoy. The room for this project was huge, with very low ceiling and comprised of a kitchen, dining, and living area, so there were many design elements to consider to ensure we made the most of the space.

The homeowners wanted a clean, elegant kitchen with minimal colour and fuss. They opted for classic square frames, painted in Lamp Room Grey by Farrow and Ball for the cabinetry, and matte brass hardware that gave the room a traditional feel, the quirky contrasting stone floor added a touch of personality to the room.

Central to the design was a large island with banquette seating, providing the perfect space to spend family dinners in the evenings. We also included a bespoke pantry cupboard to house ingredients and appliances.

The cabinetry was integrated into other furniture in the room, such as a sideboard in the wider living area, to create a seamless design. A media wall was also a must for the living space with an integrated wine cooler - the ideal setting to relax after dinner.

We also added a fabulous, functional utility room with all the trimmings.
